Norfund investment fund visits Accra

The Board of Directors and Management Team and management of Norfund, the Norwegian government’s fund for investments in developing countries, visits Accra this week.

The visit focuses on the investment climate in general and the agriculture and energy sectors in particular. After Accra, Norfund will visit Abidjan. The delegation of 15 is headed by the Chair of the Board of Directors Ms. Kristin Clemet and the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Norfund Mr Kjell Roland (photo).

In Accra, Norfund will meet with Honourable members of the new Government, leading analysts, and the investment and business communities of Ghana.

On 25 January at 2 pm a Norfund Investment Seminar will take place at Mövenpick Hotel, Accra, by invitations only. Ghana’s new Government, the investment community and analysts will be represented.

Norfund is represented on several continents, including in eastern and southern Africa. A West Africa office will open in Accra this year. At yearend 2015, Norfund’s global investment portfolio stood at 1,8 billion USD.
